Download the FPS Keyboard Template (v1.0 - 10 KB) Every computer game has its own set of key assignments. Learning these is particularly crucial for FPS (First Person Shooter) games. Many games also allow the player to customise their keyboard layout. This package provides a keyboard template for building your own, customised, keyboard quick-reference card. Provided in Word XP format, all I ask is that you keep the package intact when distributing to other people. Or if you want to share your own key assignments with friends, please leave the copyright notice in the header in place. Copyright and licensing information is also included in the readme file. This package includes two copies of the basic keyboard template: one blank, and one pre-filled with standard, FPS key assignments. Feel free to fill in your own key assignments for each game you play. And you like Star Wars games as much as I do, take a look at the Star Wars FPS package, below. The first page in each file contains my own sample customisations, together with a summary of key cheat codes. The second page contains the game's default keyboard layout. (Jedi Outcast has two more pages, covering the slightly different layout for multiplayer.) Most people will probably want to copy the default keyboard layout over my sample layout and customise from there. Also take a look at my Reference Booklets for Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy. |
